Deja vu; Mallards, Jaxx meet on Opening Day again

BEVERLY -- The Diamond Jaxx and Mallards will once again kick off the Bay State Wiffle Leagues season. 

The Jaxx, which has been in the league since it began its venture in 2019 is still seeking its first World Series Championship after having three consecutive regular seasons of success. The Mallards on the other hand are looking to improve upon their 11-9 record in 2020 which included a Wild Card playoff exit.

Thursday evening the Diamond Jaxx acquired former Mallard Chad Marescalchi off of waivers, he is currently listed as "questionable" for Sunday's Opening Day against his former team.
