Nor'easters add to rotation, sign MacMurdo

Sunday -- The Nor'easters have signed former tryout player Travis MacMurdo to a one-year contract after proving value in Sunday's doubleheader.

MacMurdo, a Tewksbury native has college baseball experience, most recently with Saint Anselm College, the 6'4" RHP brings mound talent to this already fierce lineup.

Sunday afternoon MacMurdo played in his 'Player Tryout Offer' (PTO) with the Storm, unfortunately, he could not stop the offensive attack the Mallards brought to the table, but do not doubt his talent as the right-handed pitcher will prove his value after getting some experience in the Bay State Wiffle League.
